A man has been taken into custody following allegations of horrific acts against children.
On Monday, October 8, Adam Renk surrendered to law enforcement in Mobile, Alabama. Following a hearing this morning, he was denied bond and continues to be held in custody.
Renk faced charges in both Oregon and Alabama related to the sexual abuse of minors. In Alabama, he faces allegations of confining an 11-year-old child in a space referred to as a “torture room.”
The Wasco County District Attorney’s Office is actively coordinating efforts to ensure Renk is brought back to Oregon to address charges once his case in Alabama is resolved.
