The police in Stanley, North Dakota, say a man shot and killed his friend while high on psychedelic mushrooms. He has been charged with murder.
Malcom Mayors, 33, turned himself in to the Mountrail County Jail just after midnight on Friday. Mayors told the jail staff that he had eaten mushrooms and wasn’t sure if he killed his friend.
Officials from the Stanley Police Department went to 535 2nd St. SW and found a man who had been shot in the side and chest. A gun and two bullet holes were also found. A bullet went through a water pipe and flooded the basement.
Mayors told the cops that he had taken psychedelic mushrooms on Thursday night between 6 and 7 p.m. When he called his friend, they came over to play VR games and drink beer with Mayors.
Mayors shot but couldn’t get back to reality because they weren’t sure if it was real or not. He reached for his phone to call for help, but his friend’s phone was already out. He told the cops that he drove to get help.
Mayors is in Mountrail County Jail right now on a felony AA murder charge. The bond for him is $1 million.
