Man faces Homicide charges following discovery of Dead Woman in burned vehicle in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA: Several weeks after the body of a lady was discovered in the trunk of a burning automobile, a man has been charged with murder in connection with the discovery of the body.

On February 21, investigators from the Tulare Police Department flew to Los Angeles in order to serve a search warrant at Armstrong’s residence. According to the detectives, they discovered what seemed to be a crime scene at the residence. Investigators were able to establish that the homicide occurred within the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Department, which, as a result, assumed responsibility for the investigation.

The authorities have brought charges against Rodney Okeith, who is 70 years old, in connection with the death of Patrice Armstrong, who was 58 years old. According to the police, the Tulare Police Department in Visalia brought the resident of Los Angeles into custody on February 28.

A month ago, Armstrong’s body was discovered in the trunk of a burning automobile on the 1100 block of Century Boulevard in South Los Angeles’s Century Boulevard neighborhood. On February 15, at approximately two in the morning, witnesses called the police to report a collision involving a vehicle. However, upon their arrival, they discovered the body of the deceased Armstrong lying in the trunk of the automotive vehicle.

The day following the event, the authorities arrested for the suspected murder of Branden Bayilynn Howard, who was 44 years old. There have been no new developments on the status of Howard’s detention.

There is a $3 million bail set for Okieth, who is now being jailed for murder.
