Annapolis, MD: The body of a man from Baltimore was discovered in Annapolis on Thursday morning. The police have stated that the death of the man will be recorded as a homicide.
Officers were sent to a forested location in the 900 block of Spa Road to investigate a person who was not responding to their surroundings, as stated in a press release. They discovered the body there, which was later determined to be that of David Winchester, who was 47 years old.
According to the police, Winchester was thought to have been kidnapped on Thursday in Baltimore by “unknown suspects” before being transported to Annapolis.

The Baltimore Police Department posted a picture of Winchester on social media, indicating that they are investigating a suspected kidnapping. It has been reported by officials from the Baltimore Police Department that officers had a conversation with his mother, who stated that two individuals had broken into her home, demanded money, and claimed to have Winchester in their possession. They allegedly threatened to injure him if the money was not turned over, and then they fled “in an unspecified vehicle in an unknown direction,” according to the police information.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore was the location where the body of Winchester was transported. In their press release, the Annapolis Police Department did not confirm that Winchester’s death was a homicide; rather, they stated that they “believe” that it would be determined to be a homicide based on their investigations and the evidence that they found.
