All three were trained to play basketball at the local YMCA by their father; Lin also participated in a National Junior Basketball program that his mother helped establish. Lin led his Palo Alto High School basketball team to a 32-1 record and the California Interscholastic Federation Division II state championship as a senior. He was voted first-team All-State and Northern California Division II Player of the Year in celebration of his achievements.
Warriors and Rockets of Jeremy Lin-
Lin joined with his hometown Golden State Warriors in 2010 after failing to get selected out of college. However, he saw no action during his first season, instead being sent to the NBA Development League. Lin was discarded by the Warriors in late 2011 and grabbed by the Houston Rockets. The Rockets released him after he played seven minutes in two preseason games in Houston.

When he Joined New York Knicks and “Linsanity”?
Lin made his NBA debut with the New York Knicks in 2011-12. He initially played little for the squad before being moved back to the NBA D-League to play for the Erie BayHawks. Lin, on the other hand, was upgraded to the Knicks’ starting lineup in early 2012 and went on to lead the club to a seven-game winning run. His outstanding play during the season not only helped the Knicks reach the 2012 playoffs, but it also catapulted him to international prominence.
Lin’s spectacular rise sparked a mania known as “Linsanity.” He featured on the covers of Time and Sports Illustrated, and was named one of the Time 100 most influential persons in the world. Lin received the ESPY Award in July of 2012.

Lin returned to the Houston Rockets in 2012. In his debut season, he averaged 13.4 points and 6.1 assists per game. Lin was replaced in the starting lineup by Patrick Beverley for the 2013-14 season, and he became the main ball handler and scoring option for the second unit. In November, he scored 65 points in two games, the most in his career. He concluded the season with 12.5 points and 4.1 assists per game on average.
When Lin traded in Hawks?
Lin was moved to the Atlanta Hawks in 2018 with the intention of him mentoring rookie point guard Trae Young. Lin was, however, released by the Hawks in early 2019. He was promptly signed by the Toronto Raptors, but he struggled at first.
Lin returned to lead the Raptors to the NBA Finals despite being hampered by his earlier knee ailment. Lin became the first Asian-American player to win an NBA championship when the squad defeated the Warriors in six games.
