Authorities are looking into the discovery of an infant’s body found in a suitcase under a 10 Freeway overpass in Mid-City on Sunday.
Police responded to the location beneath the freeway at Washington Boulevard at approximately 4 p.m., as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.
When they arrived, they discovered the baby’s body and established a crime scene, cordoning off a large section of the area with tape.
The investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing. No additional details were shared.
