Infant Found in Backyard Pool in South Carolina: Police Start Probe after Grim Discovery

Mount Pleasant cops were called to a report of an infant found in a backyard pool.

The cops who arrived took care of the baby before taking it to East Cooper Medical. An incident report says that when cops talked to someone at the house, they said they were watching TV with the child when, 10 minutes later, he found the baby outside.

The police found that the door to the living room was broken, had a hole in it, and could be opened by pushing on it.

Ashley Croy, a spokeswoman for the Mount Pleasant Police Department, did not say what was wrong with the child. The report says that no charges have been brought in this case.

Both the parents were home when the incident happened. Another child found the baby in the pool as per authorities. It is not clear whether the parents of the infant will face any charges or not.

In this case, as reported by Post and Courier the Mount Pleasant Police Department is helping out.
