Webster, MA: A man from Massachusetts has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities for allegedly abducting and sexually assaulting a minor girl at Webster Beach.
Walter Fanion, 68, is set to face charges of kidnapping and molestation in court.
As per the authorities, the incident occurred on Monday, April 15 at Memorial Beach. A girl and her grandmother approached the police to report an unsettling incident that occurred at Memorial Beach. According to their account, the girl was approached by a white male with a dog who enticed her into his vehicle.
A girl came forward with a disturbing incident involving a man named Fanion. According to her account, Fanion drove her to a place to drop off a dog he had with him. Unfortunately, during this encounter, she was subjected to inappropriate assault.
The girl mentioned that Fanion later returned her to the vicinity of her home. According to the initial investigation, Fanion mentioned his presence at Memorial Beach the following day at 11:30 am.

Officers successfully located Fanion’s car based on the description given by the girl. During the following days, law enforcement closely monitored Fanion’s activities and eventually apprehended him.
Fanion is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping, enticing a child under 16, four counts of indecent assault, and battery on a child under 14. He is currently in custody with a bail amount of $75,040.
