Former Employee and Daycare Owner Face Charges After Child Abuse Investigation at Wisconsin Daycare

An investigation into alleged child abuse at Forever Friend’s Learning Center has led to potential charges for a former employee and the daycare’s owner.

An investigation was launched by the Kewaskum Police Department on July 23 following a report they received. The facility chose to close temporarily while the investigation took place, working closely with Washington County Child Protective Services and the Department of Children and Families.

The Kewaskum police have submitted a list of charges to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. A 20-year-old woman, who used to work at the daycare, has been charged with two counts of physical abuse of a child and two counts of failure to report abuse/neglect. Additionally, the daycare’s owner is facing one count of failure to report abuse/neglect.
