A former Utah law enforcement officer has been taken into custody for alleged sexual abuse, with the reported incidents spanning over two decades.
Authorities in San Juan County have made an arrest over the weekend. Grayson W. Redd, a 74-year-old resident of Monticello, is now in custody, according to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office. Redd has retired from his position as a deputy with the force.
Authorities have reported that Redd’s arrest was prompted by the revelation of criminal activities spanning over two decades. He is under suspicion for engaging in child rape and forcible sexual abuse involving both children and minors.
