Authorities apprehended three undocumented individuals in an affluent Florida county last week in connection with child sexual offenses, according to police reports.
On Friday, three suspects from Honduras, who are in the country illegally, were apprehended by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office revealed the suspects’ identities:
- Selvin Lopez Lopez
- Erick Lopez Lopez
- Jesersson Lopez Lopez
The Sheriff’sOffice has not disclosed any information regarding potential connections.
The Lopez Lopez trio has been taken into custody for multiple allegations of inappropriate conduct, including a serious charge involving a minor under the age of 12, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities reported that the “despicable behavior” occurred from August 2024 until their arrest last week.
Authorities found that Selvin and Erick Lopez Lopez crossed into the U.S. unlawfully in 2021 and subsequently surrendered to the Border Patrol. The sheriff’s office reported that they were instructed to request a court date but failed to do so.
Jesersson reportedly entered the country unlawfully in 2023 and has been scheduled for a court appearance in 2028.
The trio of Lopez individuals is currently in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail without the option for bond, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
