Fort Lauderdale, FL-

When the event took place on February 27, Rubyne Burrows, who was 32 years old at the time, was working as a school security monitor at William Dandy Middle School in Fort Lauderdale, according to the authorities.
The Fort Lauderdale police department stated that on that particular day, a school resource officer from the Fort Lauderdale police department responded to the school and was shown a video that showed Burrows placing a student in a headlock and then slamming the student into a concrete planter box.
Burrows was also seen on the video slapping the student in the face and exerting pressure to his neck. It was captured on video.
On the evening of Sunday, just before midnight, Burrows turned himself into the authorities. The charge against him is a felony for child abuse that did not involve significant bodily harm as reported by Local10 News.
Since then, he has appeared before a judge in Broward County and been released on bond from jail.
