Officials said that the FBI charged the founder of an organization that supports disabled children with sexual abuse of youngsters after his detention on Wednesday.
James “Jamie” Grover established the Central Florida area’s Special Needs Advocacy Program (SNAP) to aid families. The Seminole Town Center Mall in Sanford and the man’s residence in Deltona were searched by the FBI’s Tampa Field Office, leading to the man’s arrest, which was revealed Thursday.
“The FBI believes Grover targeted young boys between the timeframe of 2010 to the present while working at SNAP and while serving as Group Director of Autism on the Seas, an international organization that developed cruise vacations for adults and families living with special needs,” according to the agency.
Grover allegedly had victims that the FBI is trying to locate. Go to www.fbi.gov/snapvictims if you or your kid thinks they’re Grover victims or if you have any information about this case. The identities of all victims will remain secret.
