A 32-year-old woman has been taken into custody following the discovery of a deceased woman in the backseat of her car. Authorities have determined that the cause of death was unrelated to the single-vehicle accident in which the woman was involved.

A passerby was tending to Margot Lewis, a 32-year-old female of an unknown residence, who had exited the vehicle. During the investigation, authorities discovered the presence of a deceased individual in the back seat of the vehicle.
The individual was identified as a 35-year-old female, according to the police. The circumstances surrounding the deceased’s condition raised suspicions, indicating that the death was not caused by the motor vehicle accident.
The police have successfully identified the victim, but they are currently withholding her name until her next of kin has been notified.
Lewis is scheduled to appear in court for this case on Tuesday, as stated by the Olmstead County Sheriff’s Office as reported by ABC News.
