An incident occurred on Saturday morning on Interstate 90 in Olmstead County, Minnesota. The Olmstead County Sheriff’s Office promptly responded to a single-vehicle accident.

At the scene, they found Margot Lewis, a 32-year-old woman who was receiving assistance from a passerby. The Olmstead County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on Monday providing details of the incident.

The individual was identified as a 35-year-old female, according to the police. The circumstances surrounding the deceased’s condition raised suspicions, indicating that the death was not caused by the motor vehicle accident.

The police have successfully identified the victim, but they are currently withholding her name until her next of kin has been notified.

Lewis is scheduled to appear in court for this case on Tuesday, as stated by the Olmstead County Sheriff’s Office as reported by ABC News.

Multiple agencies, including the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), Eyota Fire Department, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service, responded to the initial call. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the loved ones of the deceased.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing and no additional details will be provided at this moment.
