Introduction
The cast of Jumanji- The Next Level includes top-tier actors and actresses, some of whom starred in the previous film and others who are new to the franchise. Jake Kasdan directs the third Jumanji film, which takes fan-favorite characters on another rousing journey as they confront unforeseen hazards to save a buddy.
The successful franchise is based on award-winning children’s book author Chris Van Allsburg’s two works, Jumanji and Zathura. These incredibly inventive masterpieces inspired the films Jumanji (1995), Zathura- A Space Adventure (2005), Jumanji- Welcome to the Jungle (2017), and now Jumanji- The Next Level (2018). 1. Dr. Smolder (Dwayne Johnson) Bravestone– Eddie’s avatar is Dr. Smolder Bravestone, an archaeologist and team leader. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is well-known for his roles in various series and blockbuster films, including Fast & Furious. He’s also been in Rampage, San Andreas, Moana, and more films.
2. Ruby Roundhouse, played by Karen Gillan, is Martha’s avatar and a highly competent commando. Karen Gillan rose to prominence as Amy Pond in Doctor Who and has subsequently played Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
3. Professor Sheldon “Shelly” Oberon, played by Jack Black, is Fridge’s (and subsequently Bethany’s) avatar who specializes in paleontology, archaeology, mapping, and cryptography. Jack Black has been in popular films such as School of Rock as Dewey Finn, Nacho Libre as the title role, Tenacious D- Post-Apocalypto as JB, and others. He also provided the voice of Po in the Kung-Fu Panda series.

4. Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, played by Kevin Hart, is Milo’s avatar and a naturalist, linguist, and weapons expert. Kevin Hart has appeared in films such as The Upside, Ride Along, and Grudge Match as Dell, Ben Barber, and Dante Slate Jr. In addition to his film performances, Hart is a skilled stand-up comedian.
Jumanji- The Next Level’s Supporting Cast
1. Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough is played by Nick Jonas. Spencer’s new avatar and a young pilot is Seaplane McGonough. Nick Jonas is best known as a member of the Jonas Brothers band and as Nate Kulina in the television shows Kingdom and Midway.
2. Ming Fleetfoot, a new avatar and first-rate thief, is played by Awkwafina. Awkwafina is a Golden Globe nominee best recognized for her appearances in the popular films Ocean’s 8 and Crazy Rich Asians as Constance and Peik Lin Goh, respectively. She was most recently seen in The Farewell as Billi.
3. Ser’Darius Blain as Anthony “Fridge” Johnson: In Welcome to the Jungle, Fridge is one of the youngsters that gets pulled into Jumanji. Ser’Darius Blain played Galvin Burdette in the smash TV series revival Charmed and appeared as Cam Colvin in When the Game Stands Tall.

4. Morgan Turner as Martha Kaply: Martha is another of Spencer’s buddies from Welcome to the Jungle. Morgan Turner has been in films such as Wonder Struck, in which she played Janet, and in the miniseries Mildred Pierce, in which she portrayed Veda Pierce.
5. Madison Iseman as Bethany Walker: Bethany is the fourth child from Welcome to the Jungle who, along with Spencer, Martha, and Fridge, was taken into Jumanji. Madison Iseman recently played Mary Ellen in the horror thriller Annabelle Comes Home.
6. Eddie Gilpin, played by Danny DeVito, is Spencer’s grandpa. Danny Devito is a professional actor who has appeared in films such as Matilda, Batman Returns, Twins, Get Shorty, and many others. He presently appears in the television show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
7. Milo Walker, played by Danny Glover, is Eddie’s buddy. Danny Glover is well known for his role as Roger Murtaugh in the blockbuster franchise Lethal Weapon, and he is presently starring in The Last Black Man in San Francisco as Grandpa Allen. He has also appeared in Predator 2, Silverado, and other films.

8. Colin Hanks as Alex Vreeke: In Welcome to the Jungle, Alex was the first person to become trapped in Jumanji, but he was rescued by the kids and returned to the 1990s. Colin Hanks has acted in various films, including King Kong and Orange County, but he is arguably best known for his television performances in shows like Band of Brothers, Fargo, and The Good Guys.
