Fresno, CA- A 20-year-old man from Fresno has been given a 29-year sentence for committing multiple sexual assault charges against children and a dog, as announced by the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office on Friday.
According to officials, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department initiated an investigation into 20-year-old Gage Mason on April 5, 2023, after receiving a report of sexual assault involving several minors.
Officials have reported that on April 19, 2023, Mason was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail following a comprehensive investigation.
According to officials, Mason admitted guilt for all charges and aggravating factors on June 5th.
Officials have stated that in addition to his prison sentence, Mason will be required to register as a sex offender.
The case was effectively prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Justice Keel of the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit, according to the DA’s office.
