Miami, FL: A teenager is facing adult charges after allegedly shooting another student following a fight near Miami Northwestern Senior High School.
Disturbing footage shows a teenager firing shots after a violent altercation near northwest 12th Avenue and 71st Street on Jan. 11.
Based on an arrest report, the two teenagers were present at the basketball game as spectators. Once the game concluded, they engaged in a verbal altercation and decided to engage in a physical confrontation.
A teenager was severely injured during a violent incident that escalated into a shooting. The individual responsible for the shooting, a 15-year-old named Kenahri Smith, surrendered to authorities.
Smith is currently facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
A judge has ruled that the individual will face charges as an adult. Smith’s court hearing is scheduled for Monday.
