A pack of dogs attacked a small child in the US state of South Carolina so viciously that they “ate the muscle out of his leg.”
After being bitten 60 times, A’Rhyan Anderson, a primary school student, had a hard road to recovery, according to his mother.
On February 14, at approximately 7:40 a.m., the 11-year-old was attacked by four dogs as she made her way to a school bus stop on a Clinton, Washington, street.
The child named “Red” saw the creatures approaching and attempted to flee, but was pursued, according to a family acquaintance.
He was transported by air to a Greenville hospital for treatment after suffering serious injuries.
Mom of A’Rhyan, Amy Lowe, told FOX8 that her son had surgery and was currently recovering.
It causes trauma. I’ve experienced trauma. She assured the publication, “I’m sure my son is traumatized.
He has a long recovery ahead of him. He sustained more than 60 bites. There isn’t any muscle. His left leg’s muscle was completely consumed by them.
Before dialing 911, a neighbor named Natasha Mims described the terrifying scene in which she witnessed the dogs encircling the youngster and exclaimed, “They were literally eating him.”
She remarked, “It looked like the dogs had eaten him alive.”
I had no idea if he was dead or alive at this time. All I could see were bones. I noticed that he had been well consumed.
According to FOX8, two of the dogs were shot by police, while the other two escaped.
It is said that they are big, black mixed breed dogs.
“I want to put the dogs down,” Ms. Lowe declared.
“I want the dog owners to be held accountable. They will answer for their actions. I want my son to get justice.”
A gofundme page created by family friends has received 600 gifts, about $24,000 (more than $36,800) in total.
Julia Bluford commented, “Amy needs our help as she will be out of work throughout Red recovery (sic).”
