American Gods is an American fantasy drama television series based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name and developed by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green for the premium cable network Starz.
It is Produced by Fremantle USA and distributed by Lionsgate Television. The first season of the show premiered on April 30, 2017.
Fuller and Green served as the showrunners for the first season and were replaced by Jesse Alexander for the second season.
Gaiman serves as an executive producer along with Fuller, Green, Craig Cegielski, Stefanie Berk, David Slade, and Adam Kane.
American Gods Cast
According to sources, Orlando Jones will not appear in American Gods’ season 3. This makes Orlando Jones to becomes the first major cast member to leave the show since Gillian Anderson after season 1.
According to sources, Iwan Rheon has officially announced for the cast of American Gods for Season 3, in which he’ll play “a charming, good-natured” leprechaun person named Liam Doyle.
Apart from the main cast members, Other casts include Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, Bruce Langley as Technical Boy, Crispin Glover as Mr. World, Omid Abtahi as Salim, Peter Stormare as Czernobog, Demore Barnes as Mr. Ibis and Devery Jacobs as Sam Black Crow.
American Gods Release Date
Given the holds that season two-faced, we’re reluctant to assume on when we’ll see American Gods season 3.
It appears that the most confident prediction at the juncture would be for it to realize in the summer of 2020, but we’ll update this when we have authorized proof.
Considering the production has started, it hopefully would not take much time to get a release date.
American Gods Plot
The plot of season 3 has not been disclosed so far. However, after the finale of season 2, author Neil Gaiman talked about the prospects and said in an interview to Deadline, “Well, he’s (Shadow Moon) got a new identity waiting for him, and he’s heading out, so things are going to change.”
It can be an easy guess to foresee Shadow Moon with a change in personality. The fans wait eagerly for the next season to arrive and let’s hope it does disappoint.
