An armed burglary suspect was shot by a Saline County man returning home on Tuesday after the suspect drew a weapon as he left the man’s house.
Deputies from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence on East Sardis Road in response to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, the deputies discovered the homeowner, who informed them that he had dialed 911.
