Alabama Mother Sold 5-year-old Daughter to Child Predator; Girl Died after Brutal Sexual Assault

Phoenix City, AL: A man was found guilty of raping and killing a 5-year-old girl, one month after the girl’s mother confessed to selling her to the man.

A jury in Alabama found Jeremy Williams guilty of four counts of capital murder on April 12 for killing Kamarie Holland in December 2021.

Now the assailant was sentenced to the death penalty on April 15 by the jury.

Police say Williams paid Kristy Siple, Kamarie’s mother, $2,500 to have relations with the girl before beating and killing her.

Williams was charged with capital murder of a child under the age of 14, capital murder during sodomy, capital murder during kidnapping, and capital murder during rape, according to prosecutors.

He had already pleaded guilty to human trafficking, according to the district attorney’s office.

Siple pleaded guilty to sex trafficking in March, according to WTVM. She is yet to be sentenced.

Kamarie’s mother reported her daughter missing in Georgia on December 13, 2021, PEOPLE previously reported. Her remains were discovered in a deserted home near Phenix City, Alabama.
