An individual was taken into custody by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on charges of child abuse after it was claimed that he grabbed a youngster by the throat.
As stated in the court filings, Quinton Wicks, who is 44 years old and hails from Pisgah, was taken into custody by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on September 26.
He was charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a kid under the age of 18 for grabbing the child by the throat, according to the documents that were presented to the court.
Wicks allegedly grabbed the child by the throat, chained her up, and locked her in a bedroom, as stated in the records prepared by the court.
In exchange for a bond of sixteen thousand dollars, he was freed from the Jackson County Jail.
