New Jersey Pastor Arrested after He Drugged and Molested Teen at His Home; Was Arrested Earlier for Similar Incident

Honk News (Trenton, NJ) – Authorities reported that a pastor in New Jersey is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a teenager at his residence.

Charles B. Brinson was taken into custody at his home in Trenton on February 19. Authorities claim that the victim accused him of drugging their drink and then approaching them after they lost consciousness.

A 16-year-old has accused Brinson, 64, of wrongdoing over a year ago, as stated by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

A Bishop from the Brinson Memorial Church faces charges of two counts of sexual assault involving an incapacitated victim, along with two counts of endangering a child’s welfare.

Brinson, the founder of the church since 2014, is accused of abusing the victim last year during two separate incidents at his home, as stated by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation into the pastor is still in progress. He was let go after being taken into custody.

Brinson established the church in 2014. Brinson stated on his Facebook page that he is a volunteer chaplain for the Trenton Police.

In September 2008, Brinson was taken into custody for picking up a 15-year-old boy in Philadelphia and bringing him back to his residence in Florence.

The charges were ultimately dismissed.

In 2009, Brinson took a plea deal and received a sentence of four years on probation. According to FOX 29, he was also mandated to register as a sex offender.
