Kentucky Principal Filmed Providing Alcohol to Teen Students, Faces Charges and Parents Outraged

A principal from a Kentucky high school faces charges and has been put on leave following a video that shows him providing two teenage girls with a beer bong at a party involving alcohol, according to police reports.

Kenton County police announced Thursday that footage has surfaced showing Anthony Procaccino, 50, providing alcohol to two girls, aged 16 and 17, at his home last New Year’s Eve.

The principal of Scott High School, previously the head of a local elementary school, was captured on video raising a beer bong while two girls drank from the multi-hosed funnel.

Procaccino was spotted drinking from the device, with the video revealing cans of hard seltzer strewn across a nearby table.

According to police, the teenagers featured in the video are students from Scott High School and the nearby Simon Kenton High School.

Authorities began investigating the incident only after the teens’ parents discovered the clip and notified them last week.

During the incident, Procaccino served as the principal of Whites Tower Elementary, according to police reports.

The nature of his connection with the girls was not obvious at first.

A representative from the Kenton County school district confirmed awareness of the incident and stated that Procaccino has been placed on leave during the police investigation.

Procaccino now faces two charges related to helping individuals under 21 obtain alcoholic drinks.
