Middle-Aged Man Made 14-year-old Addicted to Meth and Exploited Her Sexually; Ran away with Her and Starved Her in Pennsylvania

A 48-year-old Hatfield man, who is currently awaiting trial on serious firearms charges, has been accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with a 14-year-old girl. It is alleged that he introduced her to drugs and subsequently fled with her.

Jason Matthew Hill faced arraignment on Thursday before District Judge Maureen Coggin in Upper Hanover Township. He is now confronted with 18 felony charges, including the rape of a substantially impaired person, along with nine related misdemeanors and summary offenses.

He was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Center and is being held on a bail amount of $2 million.

Hill is currently facing trial in Montgomery County court for several charges, including illegally possessing a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license. These charges stem from an arrest in Hatfield in May 2023, as documented in the public docket.

An investigation was launched by the Marlborough Police Department and Montgomery County Detectives Unit in June, following a report of sexual assault made by the victim against Hill last year.

A probable cause affidavit states that the girl informed the police about Hill’s consistent provision of illegal drugs, such as methamphetamines. Hill also formed a connection with the girl by sharing stories about his difficult upbringing, which resonated with the girl’s own struggles.

According to authorities, the two reportedly engaged in a consensual relationship starting in early 2023, which spanned a period of six months. After a few months, the girl became dependent on methamphetamines. Her relationship with her family deteriorated, leading her to run away and seek refuge with Hill, according to authorities.

According to the affidavit, the girl was reportedly kept in Hill’s bedroom above the garage of the rented home, with limited interaction with other residents.

Authorities claim that Hill failed to consistently provide the girl with food, resulting in a significant weight loss.

During the incident, a resident came across the girl in the bedroom and offered her food and drink. Upon learning about this, Hill reacted by slapping the girl, as stated in the affidavit.

After a few weeks, the homeowner found out that Hill had been concealing the girl and decided to evict them. They moved to a different residence, only to be forced to leave once more.

Hill later brought the girl to a residence in Bucks County, where they remained until she was apprehended by the Pennridge Regional Police Department.

Authorities claim that the young girl was discovered under the influence and in possession of methamphetamines. A young girl was transported to a hospital, later handed over to a family member, and eventually admitted into a drug treatment program, according to the affidavit.

The family member who assumed custody of the girl found text messages between her and Hill and captured photos of parts of the messages, which were then handed over to the police. According to authorities, the messages revealed the connection between the individuals involved.
