A Pennsylvania lady is in jail after allegedly shooting at a mother, father, and their 7-month-old infant, hitting the youngster in the knee and yelling, “Fâ your baby, bâ-.”
Dominique Billips, 28, was detained by Philadelphia police on charges of aggravated assault, according to local NBC station WCAU. Cops posted the terrifying surveillance video on YouTube before arresting Billips in the hopes of apprehending the shooter.
The footage shows the woman, eventually identified as Billips, approaching the parents and firing two rounds. The father flees, leaving the mother and their kid in the stroller behind. The shooter continues past the woman and stroller before firing another point-blank shot at the mother and baby.
“My baby!” the mother shrieked.
Billips allegedly said, “Fâ your baby, bâ-” before walking away.
The gunfire missed the parents but hit the baby in the leg, police added. It happened on Thursday in the 4000 block of Meridian Street, northeast Philadelphia. Police say a nice Samaritan transported the baby to the hospital. He is currently in stable health.
“When I found out the baby was 7 months old, both parents indicated they had warrants. They came out of their car, and I took the infant. I just felt compelled to defend this child. It was overwhelming. It was scary. This person came up and didn’t care, showed no remorse, and fired and went away as if nothing had occurred,” he told the outlet.

Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum of Philadelphia police told WCAU that it took them an hour to find the parents. He claimed the parents fled because they were afraid police would arrest them on the warrants.
“This appears to be all about a $100 narcotics debt, according to what we’ve been told,” Rosenbaum told the site. “So it’s sad; in the video, she physically points the pistol at the baby’s mother, who is also a juvenile, and fires. Fortunately, she missed, and that’s probably when the baby was struck.”
Billips is set to appear in court on Monday to face the allegations.
