A warning has been issued by the Chicago Police Department on an attempted sexual assault that occurred in the Humboldt Park district of the city.
On Thursday, the Fourth of July, at approximately 6:58 a.m., it took place close to the intersection of Pierce and Central Park.
A male who has not been identified allegedly seized an older woman while she was searching for something in her vehicle, as reported by the police.
The male allegedly made an attempt to sexually assault the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to the police records as per ABC-7 Chicago News.
The suspect is thought to be between the ages of 20 and 40, wearing a white shirt, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 inches tall, and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.
