69-year-old Punched and Robbed by Man on Subway; Left with Broken Bones in New York City: Suspect at Large

Authorities are actively searching for an individual responsible for assaulting and robbing a 69-year-old man on a subway platform in Manhattan earlier this week.

According to authorities, a male suspect allegedly assaulted the victim by restraining him in a chokehold, repeatedly striking him in the head, stealing his belongings, and subsequently escaping on foot at approximately 11 a.m.

A bustling subway station on Canal Street by Broadway, specifically the downtown platform for the R train, was the scene of an unfortunate incident.

Another violent assault occurred just last Thursday. An incident took place at the 59th Street subway stop along Lexington Avenue.

“I think all the fractured bones are in this circle area,” said the victim Veynu Narasiman, who pointed to the right side of his face.

A family from Austin, Texas traveled to New York City hoping to experience the best the city has to offer. However, their trip took a turn for the worse when the husband and father of two, was unexpectedly attacked with a sucker punch.

“I was just looking at my phone and all of a sudden I felt just a big blow to the face out of nowhere,” Naraseeman said.

Naraseeman suffered severe facial injuries, with a total of 12 broken bones as per ABC7NY News.

“He was bleeding profusely from both nostrils, and he was spitting out blood and the right side of his face was all swollen,” said Naraseeman’s wife Regina Koshy.

Fortunately, the victim’s wife was able to closely observe the assailant and promptly shared a detailed description with the authorities.

They have returned to their home in Texas, eagerly awaiting an arrest.
