6-year-old Abused and Brutally Beaten by Mom’s Boyfriend in Georgia: Police Say

A man from north Georgia has been taken into custody by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and charged with aggravated assault, family violence, and first-degree cruelty to children.

Alan James Cain, age 21, was taken into custody after the Hart County Sheriff’s Office brought a case of child abuse and severe assault to the attention of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).

They allege that Cain has abused a young boy who is six years old and is the son of his girlfriend. The arrest of Cain resulted in his booking into the Hart County Jail.

The identities of the mother and her son have not been revealed by the authorities.
