A man admitted that he paid women to molest their kids while he watched online video chats. On Wednesday, the Alabama man was given a sentence of more than 28 years in jail.
Five counts of making child pornography were found guilty by Jeremy Dixon Kinsey, 54, on January 25, 2024. He was given a prison term of 28 years and four months.
Senior U.S. District Judge Ginny Granade also gave the person 20 years in prison for having child pornography on them. The TV station says that Kinsey will get both sentences at the same time.
People sent information about Kinsey to the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, which caught him in May 2023. The news source says that all of the victims were under 12 years old and lived outside of the United States. One of them was a baby.
Kinsey said he gave money and other valuable things to three different people, as reported by WALA. The women reportedly abused their kids in real-time video chats while he watched in exchange. The television station said that Kinsey’s written plea deal included 10 recordings of three different children.
Kinsey stated that the crimes had been done since 2022 as part of his plea deal. The TV station said that he also said it included talks with 11 other children or their guardians, not just the three kids named in the original indictment.
The recordings were kept in video chats with Kinsey using the messaging app WhatsApp. The TV station said that according to the plea deal, Kinsey’s face could be seen in the videos.
Kinsey also admitted to having more than 600 pictures or videos of child sex abuse on his cellphone.
Kinsey will be watched by the U.S. Probation Office for 15 years after his sentence is over. The judge also told him to sign up as a sex offender and told him he couldn’t have any contact with children.
