2 Stabbed & Many Injured at a Fair in South Florida; Police Say All Suspects Are Teens

Miami Beach, FL: The authorities in Florida arrested five teens after “multiple fights between juveniles” at the South Florida Fair on Saturday night.

Two teenagers claimed to have been stabbed, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The fights took place in “all directions of the midways” from 9 p.m. until the fair closed for the night at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

Deputies from throughout the county were asked to help deputies on the site.

Three minors face accusations of trespassing after warning and resisting without violence; one for trespassing and resisting without violence; and one for resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Two boys arrived at Wellington Regional Hospital, alleging they had been stabbed, but both refused to face charges.

For the first time this year, anyone under the age of 18 will be required to accompany a parent or guardian after 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
