A Georgia man has been charged with murder following the tragic discovery of his girlfriend’s dead body in her apartment.
Early Saturday morning, Albany police responded to a shooting at the Shoreham Apartments on Champagne Lane.
Upon the arrival of officers, they discovered the lifeless body of Eboni Nicole Hood, 19, in a bedroom in her apartment.
Officials have reported that Hood passed away due to a gunshot wound to the face.
During the investigation, J’Shon Davyen Price, 21, admitted that he unintentionally shot his girlfriend.
The victim and suspect resided together in the apartment.
Price has been arrested and charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and aggravated assault, according to the evidence.
He was taken into custody and placed in the Dougherty County Jail.
