According to police officials, a 19-year-old healthcare worker in Georgia recently went viral on TikTok for “dancing provocatively” on top of a disabled person’s head. She is now facing felony charges.
Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, a resident of Loganville, is facing a charge of exploiting a disabled person in connection with the alleged event, which was filmed and posted on social media by the young woman. In the video, she can be seen wearing scrubs and a stethoscope.
According to a press release from the authorities, “On January 23, 2025, the Loganville Police Department was made aware of a ‘viral’ video that was posted on social media. The video showed a woman dancing in a provocative manner above a disabled person who was seated in a chair.” “This morning, a search warrant and an arrest warrant were both executed for the woman as a result of a criminal investigation that was started.”
According to WAGA, a local Fox affiliate, police were alerted to Koiyan’s video after it gained a large number of views on TikTok before being taken down. On Tuesday, the station stated that viewers had called and messaged in to allege that Koiyan had also recorded a dancing video with a man sitting in a bathtub. However, the police have not yet confirmed this.
According to Loganville Police Chief Dick Lowry, who spoke to local ABC station WSB, the video showing the man in the chair was sufficient evidence to prosecute Koiyan.
Lowry stated, “The only word I can think of to describe how I felt when I watched it is ‘disgusted.'” “Making the video and posting it on social media for your own benefit is taking advantage of him because he is disabled.”
According to Lowry, Koiyan was being held at the Walton County Jail this week as the police considered whether or not to charge her for the second video.
He answered, “We are considering both of them.”
According to Lowry, the authorities have checked on the claimed victims and have indicated that they are not in any danger. Koiyan is suspected of being part of an in-home adult day care service, according to investigators. However, it is uncertain whether she has a license or if there are more victims involved.
Lowry stated, “The investigation is still in progress.”
