New York City, NY: According to the police, a girl was stabbed to death outside of an apartment building in the Bronx on Thursday during the daytime hours. The girl is said to be 17 years old.
This occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Boynton Avenue, close to Watson Avenue, in the Soundview neighborhood, according to the officials. The teen was stabbed in the chest.
According to the police, she was transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where it was determined that she had passed away.
It has been reported by law enforcement and other sources that three individuals who ran into the building after the mayhem were brought into custody in connection with the stabbing.
It is believed that one of the three, a different adolescent girl, was the one who carried out the attack that resulted in the death of the victim, according to sources within the police department.
As of later in the afternoon, no one had been charged with the crime. Investigations were being conducted into the events that led up to the violent act that resulted in fatalities.
The identity of the victim has not been revealed as per the juvenile status of the victim. No more details were shared by the authorities.
