Chattanooga, TN: A lady who is 29 years old is facing charges after the police believe she was responsible for keeping a 17-year-old boy who was missing from Florida out of sight for almost six weeks.

On Sunday, the authorities took Nicole Duus into custody. East Brainerd Road was the location of the apartment where detectives found the pair.

An affidavit that we were able to acquire states that deputies in Hamilton County, Florida received a tip from detectives in Pasco County, Florida, that informed them that a juvenile who had run away from home might be inside their jurisdiction.

Before entering inside and checking through curtains in a window, the deputies were able to observe a young male with long hair who was gazing at a computer. In the vicinity, they observed Duus working on a second computer.

After that, an officer brought a knock on the door. When the deputies were waiting for Duus to respond, they were able to observe the young man get up and enter a room in the back of the building via the window.

According to the affidavit, Duus had no idea where the youngster was after she opened the door, and a number of people had came to her flat looking for him. These individuals were looking for him.

According to the investigation, she ‘adamantly’ denied that anyone else was present inside the house when anyone questioned her if there was anyone else there.

When faced with what the deputies saw through the window blinds, the report states that Duus eventually gave in and allowed the deputies to enter the house. He then beckoned the youngster from the back room to come in.

According to the report, the young man admitted to having fled from his mother approximately one and a half months ago.

She claimed that she and the youngster had met online while playing video games and that she “felt a need for him to get away from his mother.” Duus revealed that she had met the boy via the internet.

In her statement to the detectives, she stated that she had leased a vehicle and traveled to Florida to retrieve the youngster along with all of his video gaming equipment.

In order to give him the freedom to act whenever he pleased, she informed the deputies that she hoped to keep him concealed until he became 18 years old.

The authorities accused Duus of either sheltering or harboring a youngster who had run away.
