The Colorado Department of Revenue is responsible for managing the funds. The primary concern revolves around those who struggle to afford essential expenses such as housing, taxes, and utilities.
Colorado’s Stimulus Check Payments
Applicants must ensure they submit evidence of their residency in Colorado for the entire year of 2023. Additionally, you cannot be claimed as a dependent on another person’s federal tax return.
To qualify for this stimulus check in Colorado, applicants need to meet certain criteria:
- Individuals must be at least 65 years old, or, irrespective of their age, possess a recognized disability.
- Individuals applying alone should have an annual income below $18,026.
- To file jointly, couples must have a total income that does not exceed $24,345.

Timeline for Colorado Stimulus Check
Officials have announced that direct deposits will be available on October 5, 2024, while printed checks are set to be mailed out on October 15, 2024.
It’s important to note that applications submitted by December 31, 2025, will be handled accordingly. Paper checks are expected to be sent out 12 weeks after they are received, while direct payments will follow within the next 10 weeks.
