A teen girl called Texas authorities and reported several incidents of abuse and sexual assault. The man who molested the victim was taken into custody by the police immediately after the reporters.
He was transported from Angleton, Texas and was booked into the Hall County Jail on Sunday.
According to a press statement issued by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Jesus Hernandez, 52, of Palacios, is suspected of killing the deceased on at least two separate times inside the victim’s residence in Flowery Branch.
Another episode of abuse is said to have taken place on August 8, 2022, while the first claimed incident took place between the years 2016 and 2018. Hernandez was familiar with the girl previous to the events that transpired.
It was on December 10, 2023, after the victim had confessed the abuse, that a member of the victim’s family made the initial report to the officers of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation was initiated by the investigators, and on March 13, 2024, warrants were issued for Hernandez’s arrest as per AccessWDun News.
The most recent information indicates that Hernandez was still being held without bond in the Hall County Jail. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the incident.
