A woman from South Charleston is facing 12 years in jail for taking provocative pictures of her teenage daughter and selling them to men.
Last week, 35-year-old Sherri Brinegar pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to a criminal charge of endangering children (sexually explicit matter).
A 16-year-old girl told Dayton Municipal Court that her mother had been taking pictures of her and selling them to guys because she was a minor and it would make them more money.
The girl said it took place in Dayton in June of last year. The identity of the victim has not been revealed by the authorities. The deputies are looking for the men involved in the crime.
“(The woman) was questioned and said she wasn’t selling her pictures, but she did say she was,” the paper said.
As part of her plea deal, she will not be able to see her child. She is out on $25,000 bail and will be sentenced on June 10.
