Janesville, WI- A South Beloit man has been accused of sexually assaulting a child who is 10 years old on multiple occasions. The suspect is said to be 34 years old.
The man is identified as Jacob Michael McMahon. He is suspected of committing at least three assaults on a child in Janesville between the dates of June 8 and July 4.
In addition to that, he is also accused of luring children for indecent purposes.
If he is found guilty, he faces the possibility of being sentenced to up to 40 years in jail and receiving a fine of up to $100,000.
He can also be fined up to $100,000 and given a term of up to 25 years for the enticement of a minor.
It is alleged that McMahon would allegedly entice the child into the bedroom of a home in Janesville, where he would then sexually abuse her while holding his palm over her mouth, as stated in the criminal complaint.
The brutal incidents happened between June 8th and July 4th of this year.
On July 16th, a warrant was issued for McMahon’s arrest as reported by a local news outlet.
