Boston, MA: A woman from the Detroit area was charged with attempting to board an aircraft from Boston to London with 74 pounds of cannabis, which, according to the authorities, would have had a street worth of $370,000. The flight was scheduled to depart from Boston.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Nalexus Palmer, who is 28 years old, was charged with trafficking marijuana weighing between 50 and 100 pounds.

On the 30th of April, state troopers were dispatched to Logan Airport after receiving a tip that the United States Customs and Border Protection agency had seized 74 pounds of suspected cannabis from a passenger. The passenger, who was later identified as Palmer, was a passenger.

Two huge suitcases were taken into custody by the authorities. Inside each of the suitcases were several bags of cannabis that had been vacuum-sealed, and each bag contained an Apple AirTag.

According to the officials, Palmer embarked on a flight from Detroit to Boston and had the intention of landing in London from Boston.

In her statement to the authorities, she claimed that she was unaware that the packages included cannabis and that she had received them earlier that day from a woman whom she did not know.
