Who was Rapper BFG Straap?
Antywon Dillard, the Texas-born rapper BFG Straap, was born on January 7, 2000. Everyday 420, Catch Shells, and Bigger Than Hip Hop are among his most popular songs. Straap’s debut studio album, straap a Maniac, was released in June 2019. Months later, in September, he released Straap or Strizzy, his second endeavor.
Straap spoke podcaster Dallas WallStreet about his musical style and ascent to prominence, saying, “I’m still on some old school vibes because that’s where I still feel my anguish.” “I don’t want to be from anywhere else; I want to carry Texas on my back.” “I discovered my love two or three years ago, but I’ve been rapping for four or five.” “When I discovered myself, that’s when I was like, ‘OK, this is what you need to roll with,'” the late rap legend stated.

“You don’t have to be out on the streets doing music. You must be able to see your way out.
“Everyone is thuggin’ and struggling, but you can’t be like, ‘This is going to be me forever,’ or ‘This right here might happen, and I might die tomorrow.'” “It’s hazardous being a rapper, not just in Dallas, but all across the world,” he continued. The performer’s ninth and last record, 11:11, was made accessible worldwide in August 2022.
What was BFG Straap’s cause of death?
Straap was killed in a firefight in the south of Dallas, Texas, on September 22, 2022. A second person died at the scene as the singer was being transported to the hospital for his fatal injuries.
Cory Medina Lucien, 26, was identified as the second victim by local authorities. Staap’s life was ultimately taken by the gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital at the age of 22.
In response to the tragedy, the rapper’s management team told The New York Times, “There are no words to explain the degree of sadness we are feeling.”
