Wanted Man Arrested in Maine after He Molested Child in Colorado: US Marshalls Office Revealed

Honk News (Denver, CO) – A man facing allegations of child sexual exploitation was located by the U.S. Marshals Service in Colorado and was eventually apprehended in a quaint town in Maine.

In a significant development, the U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force apprehended Patrick Byrne, 29, in Livermore Falls, Maine, following an extended period of evasion. Authorities in Colorado have issued an arrest warrant for two counts related to the sexual exploitation of a child, as confirmed by the service on November 4, originating from Broomfield County Court.

Byrne was located in Maine following the efforts of a task force comprised of various agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Department of Corrections, Biddeford Police Department, U.S. Customs Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Maine National Guard Counterdrug Program, which gathered intelligence on his location.

The group reported that he is presently residing in Maine. He was finally found and taken into custody at his home in the quaint New England town.

The Marshals Service announced that Byrne faces charges as a fugitive from justice and is awaiting extradition to Colorado.
