Victims Airlifted after Intense Head-On Collision in Florida Keys

A head-on collision in the Florida Keys Saturday hospitalized three and injured several, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities reported the crash happened Saturday at Mile Marker 13. Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay confirmed that Trauma Star airlifted three crash victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

The cars were completely damaged after the collision. Deputies from Monroe County Sheriff’s Office have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

The authorities have not revealed the identities of the victims. The circumstances surrounding the crash are also not disclosed.

All three victims are receiving medical attention at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, as per the police.
