Two men in Riverside County, arrested earlier this week, are facing serious charges of felony torture and human trafficking, authorities confirmed.
According to a statement from the Hemet Police Department, the arrests followed a response on March 12 to the Hemet Global Medical Center after reports of sexual abuse. After speaking with the victim, officers referred the case to HPD’s Investigations Division.
The investigation revealed that the victim had endured torture, sexual assault, and forced prostitution. A second victim was later identified, who also reported being trafficked, raped, and physically assaulted by the same suspects.
Officials have not released the identities of the victims for their safety and protection.
In the weeks following the initial investigation, detectives identified Davion Marshall and Travis Grisham as the suspects.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Hemet Police, with assistance from Southwest City SWAT, arrested the suspects without incident in the 300 block of South State Street in Hemet.
Both men have been booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on multiple felony charges, including human trafficking and torture. Each suspect’s bail has been set at $1 million.
