Honk News (Washington County, FL) – According to the authorities, twin brothers in Florida were taken into custody on Tuesday on charges of sexual assault.
In response to allegations that Donald Ray Hawkins, 67, and Ronald Gene Hawkins sexually abused the victims on multiple occasions over the course of several years, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) initiated an investigation.
The authorities stated that they issued arrest warrants for the brothers after conducting interviews with the victims and reviewing the evidence.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Ronald Hawkins and Donald Hawkins, both 67 years old, were taken into custody after allegations surfaced that they had sexually abused victims for a period of time that spanned over several years.
A man of Merritt Island named Ronald was taken into custody in Brevard County, and he is currently awaiting extradition to Washington County, where he is being held on accusations of engaging in lewd and lascivious behavior toward a victim who is twelve years old or younger.
Donald, who resides in Cottondale, was taken into custody in Washington County, where he is currently being held on accusations of sexual assault involving a victim who is younger than 12 years old.
