Honk News (Los Angeles, CA) – Recent court filings reveal that three women who have accused Russell Simmons of sexual assault claim the hip-hop mogul has not paid them close to $8 million to fulfill confidential agreements.
Tina Klein-Baker, Toni Sallie, and Alexia Norton Jones have reported to the New York County Supreme Court this month that Simmons has failed to uphold the payment agreements established in the confidential settlements they each reached with him in 2023.
Simmons has financial obligations totaling $4.95 million to Baker, $3 million to Sallie, and $200,000 to Jones, as detailed in the legal documents referred to as confessions of judgment.
Simmons did not acknowledge any fault in the settlements, and the private agreements do not clearly outline the allegations made by the women against him. The agreements between Sallie and Jones specify that the compensation for each woman was intended for their claimed personal and physical injuries, as well as related health issues.
The accusations represent the most recent charges leveled against Simmons. In the previous year, three women — Sil Lai Abrams, Sherri Abernathy, and Wendy Carolina Franco — brought forth comparable allegations in New York against Simmons, claiming he did not fulfill his obligation to pay approximately $3 million as part of confidential settlement agreements established with them in 2023.

Patricia Glaser, the attorney representing Simmons, has not responded to the request for comment.
In 2017, Simmons resigned from Def Jam Records, the label he co-founded, following public allegations of sexual assault from several women, which he has consistently denied.
A singer has accused her former manager of raping her in the early 1990s, as reported in a 2017 article by the New York Times.
Sallie, a music journalist, claimed that Simmons assaulted her at a party in 1988, following a brief romantic relationship the year prior.
In 2018, Jones, who was pursuing a modeling career at the time, revealed to Variety that Simmons assaulted her in 1990 in his apartment following a date.
Simmons refuted all the allegations made by Baker, Sallie, and Jones.
