Three young individuals in southern Wisconsin were taken into custody after reportedly assaulting a man who kindly provided them with food.
On October 26 at approximately 8:50 p.m., a man was assaulted by a group of young individuals at the East Towne Mall, as reported by the Madison Police Department. A man ordered food and noticed a group of young people who expressed that they were hungry, according to officials.
The man is said to have handed over the fires he recently purchased. A group of young individuals reportedly asked the man for all his food and began to make threats towards him.
Officials report that as the man attempted to call the police, his phone was struck from his hand and shattered. Authorities reported that the man was assaulted by a group of juveniles, resulting in minor injuries.
The release stated that the group consisted of seven individuals. The young individuals were apprehended and transported to the Juvenile Reception Center.
