Texas Man Slapped with Molestation Charges after He was Arrested for Inappropriate Materials Depicting Child Abuse and Molestation

Honk News (Andrews County, TX) – A man from Andrews who was taken into custody by the Texas Department of Public Safety in February on several charges related to the possession of child pornography has been taken into custody once more.

On March 4, Albert Castille Duran, Jr. was taken into custody on a warrant, and he has since been charged with sexual assault, according to the records of the law enforcement facility.

Early in the month of February, Duran was taken into jail as part of an investigation being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security. He was released from detention in that arrest on a bond of $75,000. A bail of $200,000 has been established for him at this time.

Recently, a jury in New Mexico convicted a 28-year-old man guilty of a horrific crime that included 84 stabbings, decapitation, and the disturbing behavior of kicking the severed head around in a public park.

Joel Arciniega-Saenz was found guilty of first-degree murder in relation to James Garcia’s death, which occurred when he was 51 years old. A violent incident occurred at Apodaca Park in Las Cruces, southern New Mexico, about 45 miles north of El Paso, Texas, on June 20, 2021. According to a news release from the Doña Ana District Attorney’s Office, concerns about Arciniega-Saenz’s competency caused the case to be delayed.
