A man has been arrested in Hendersonville for alleged inappropriate touching and behavior throughout Middle Tennessee.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Hendersonville Police Department reported that officers were alerted to a man who had followed an individual home from work to Southburn Drive.
A deputy from the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office allegedly tried to pull over the vehicle, but the driver evaded the stop. Police reported that a 36-year-old man named Justin Taylor was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit with Hendersonville officers.
During an investigation, officials discovered that Taylor was linked to another incident that occurred on Nov. 13 in Hendersonville. Taylor faces allegations of inappropriately touching a woman’s buttocks without her consent during the incident.
Furthermore, authorities discovered that the 36-year-old engaged in comparable actions in Nashville at his previous workplace and in Wilson County. Authorities have reported that Taylor has been charged in connection with those incidents.
Taylor was taken into custody by HPD and faces charges of reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and sexual battery. He is said to have an upcoming court date in Sumner County General Sessions.
