In July 2023, Nasrat Ahmad Yar, a 31-year-old from Alexandria, VA, was discovered shot inside a vehicle and later declared deceased despite extensive life-saving efforts.
On July 3, 2023, an incident occurred in the early hours that prompted a thorough investigation. On March 1, authorities captured a 15-year-old male from Northeast, D.C., by a DC Superior Court custody order.
